MORRIS, JEFF

Braselton, GA 30517

I was pleasantly surprised to receive the announcement you mailed a week or so ago. I hadn’t even thought about it being 40 years since we graduated.

A little background: As you already know, I live in Braselton, GA, a small town 45 minutes NE of Atlanta. I’m still doing the same thing I was doing during our 20th reunion, managing distribution centers. I’ve divorced and remarried and have 3 adult kids (2 step kids, Ryan 28, and Lisa 26, and my daughter Amy 24). Lisa and Amy live close by, and Ryan lives in Minneapolis with his wife Allie. Lisa isn’t married, but Amy is to, Ronnie. I have one grandson, Jackson, almost 2 years old from Lisa (we had another from Lisa, named Jacob, but he died of sids a little over 3 years ago), and a granddaughter on the way from Amy. My wife is Susan Ciccotelli and as you can guess, has a bit of Italian in her. She’s the brains of the outfit. For hobbies I like to work out, design and build stuff (mainly furniture), spend time with the kids, go out on my boat on Lake Lanier, and travel in the Caribbean. We’ve been to about half of the islands. We were in Ocho Rios, Jamaica last October as hurricane Sandy came over. It was interesting and there was tremendous damage to the Sandals Resort we were staying at. We were in the Dominican Republic earlier this year and are going to St Lucia in October. Please share this info as you see fit.
Sadly, I will not be able to attend the reunion. A friend’s son is getting married in Minneapolis and we are committed to going.
